Thaddeus Heffner, LMFT is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing at the Center for Relational Healing in Brentwood, Tennessee. Heffner’s areas of clinical focus include attachment, marriage, men’s issues, emotional dependency, gender wholeness and unwanted same sex attraction. Thaddeus Heffner is also certified in EMDR trauma release work.

Regardless of a client’s presenting issues and problems, Thaddeus Heffner focuses on taking a client centered approach and respects the autonomy of clients and their right to self-determine their own paths in life.
A confident and experienced small group leader, Thaddeus Heffner is also an engaging retreat facilitator and has spent the last six years helping to support several organizations facilitate different experiential weekend retreats around the United States.
Thaddeus Heffner received a Master in Marriage and Family Therapy from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee. Before going into full time private practice he spent several years working with at-risk-youth in the public school system.
Thaddeus Heffner is a member in good standing with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, the Tennessee Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, the American Association of Christian Counselors, the National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality, and the Nashville Area Association of Christian Counselors.
